At noon on November 14, 2017, the English club of Beyond Border invited an old friend, professor Keith, to chat about college life. This activity is conducted in an open activity room of the complex building, which is also the third communication activity of the Beyond Border's students of 2017 in this semester.
After our arrival, all students sat down in the open room. Keith held a glass of lemonade and joked about the drink he loved. Since new faces came every time, Keith talked to everyone, from geography of their home to their ambition and hobbies. Classmates of Hainan, Inner Mongolia(内蒙古) and the central plains introduced themselves, while Keith'understanding of the culture of China also surprised us, he even said something that we seldom knew of Inner Mongolia. Once again, everyone felt how easygoing Keith is. Keith enjoyed the communication process very much, his laughter and spirit never stopped throughout the noon.
Then Keith asked us the conditions of university life, and we started to know that everyone had a unique life, there should be students who spend five hours in doing sports every day, making me instantly feel so big the world is. Then the students communicated with professor Keith about questions of exams. From the perspective of psychology, he not only put forward several proposals to the students there, but couldn't help sharing a story of his son about exams.
Although it was difficult to get Keith's speaking understanded very well, the whole chat was a pleasant one with the help of his pretty assistant. Particularly, Keith, who had been talking for over an hour before he could finish the half glass of lemonade, was still in the mood to take a picture with us. Seeing this,we know the day without lunchbreak was worth more.
